What are some risks and complications?
The main complication we have heard from our patients is that it can take a few days to get used to their new veneers. You will be asked how they feel before you leave your application appointment so adjustments can be made.
Since veneers are very thin, if you have a history of grinding or clenching your teeth, veneers may not be for you. This can be curbed by wearing a plastic dental guard when sleeping, but there is still the possibility of cracking or breaking your veneer unintentionally.
