Care in the preparationBehind your care, Plasmapp ACTILINK prepares implant surfaces and STERLINK Plus sterilizes compatible instruments. Two different tools, each with a role in getting ready for your treatment.
ACTILINK: preparing the implant surface
Plasma is an energized gas. ACTILINK uses it to treat an implant surface before placement. This process removes surface impurities and changes how the surface interacts with water.
STERLINK Plus: instrument sterilization
STERLINK Plus is a low-temperature plasma sterilizer for compatible instruments. Sterilization is a different task from implant surface activation, with its own equipment, instructions, and processing steps.

Are activation and sterilization the same thing?
No. Surface activation prepares the surface of an implant. Instrument sterilization uses a separate process to make compatible instruments ready for clinical use.
